Note: we will not be automatically providing free tickets to volunteers; instead you are encouraged to request financial assistance when ticket sales open.
We are currently in the middle reviewing all proposals submitted during our CFP, but we could always use more help to decide which ones will be accepted to speak at the conference!
Reasonable familiarity with Python is required, however we are looking for people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experience levels to weigh in. Please only volunteer if you can commit at least 6 hours a week during the first three weeks of July. Previous experience with reviewing conference proposals or academic talks is welcome and helpful, but not required.

We would like to create a guide of restaurants, cafes, hotels, parking, and things for attendees to do in the the downtown Santa Monica area. If you're a local who knows the area well please lend us your knowledge.
We want to put together some stage decorations and branding for the event. This is for folks with some artistic and design sense, and who can create a good looking presentation stage on a tight budget.
We would like help reaching out to students, local user groups, and persons underrepresented in tech to get the word out and attend.
We will also need lots of attendees to help out on the day of (and during the week before) the conference. This includes things like Drivers, Session Runners, Registration and Badging, as well as general help setting up and tearing down everything at the start/end of the day.
